Chocolada’s roots are embedded in a collection of traditional and cherished Eastern European recipes. Passed down throughout generations as family heirlooms, these preparations made their journey to Toronto, Canada in the early 1980s.
In 1988, we began selling just three types of pastries. The feedback was immediate. Our small-scale home kitchen quickly transformed into a professional bakery and retail enterprise.
Over thirty years later, the bakery has expanded its repertoire to include over sixty different cakes, pastries, and savoury baked items. Our products range from simple, home-style baked goods to custom cakes.
We have had the honour of being a presence throughout our clients’ lives—called upon for Toronto’s most important family celebrations. Whether for a birthday, baby shower, or wedding, we bring exceptional quality to your tables.
Besides taking our desserts home to enjoy, our sit-down café is open daily for an espresso on the spot. Here, we serve seasonal treats like authentic gelato, milkshakes, and fresh baked goods crafted every morning.
